In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Payman Langroudi is a dentist and clinical director at Enlighten - the only teeth whitening system in the world to guarantee results. He is course director at Mini Smile Makeover and a co-host of the Dental Leaders Podcast.
In the first part of this episode we talk about Payman’s transition out of clinical dentistry and how his current stresses compare to his previous stresses as a practicing dentist. We also talk about the science of teeth whitening and how peroxide based whitening products actually work to whiten teeth. We talk about what we really think of teeth whitening trends we’ve both seen on social media and whether they work. Payman also shares simple things we could be doing at home to keep our teeth white.
