In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Dr Niki qualified from King’s College London in 2017 before going on to complete a PGCert in Primary Dental Care. Passionate to provide her patients with the latest clinical techniques and the best possible care, she pursued and completed a PGDip in Restorative Dental Care at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, winning the highly regarded Prestige Award.
She has since begun her four-year Masters of Clinical Dentistry course in Prosthodontics at King’s College London, completion of which, will allow her to be on the specialist register.
In this episode, Niki and I talk about the advantages and disadvantages of setting up a squat dental practice; where to start and important factors to consider. Niki shares her experience of building a business whilst completing her specialist training and important characteristics that have helped her succeed thus far.
