In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Raabiha qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2014 with honours. She completed her Dental Foundation Training (DFT) in North East London where she later became a joint DFT trainer. She has worked as a general dentist at several practices in London and recently become a practice owner. She is passionate about teaching and uses her social media to inspire the next of generation of dentists to grow both personally and professionally.
In this episode, Raabiha and I discuss our dental journeys, our experience with social media and how we found our individual purpose for creating content. We talk about failure and learning from mistakes. Raabiha and I also answer one of the most frequently asked questions that we receive from our young followers: “should I study Medicine or Dentistry?”
