In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Dr Amna graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2014. She then trained as a GP back in her home town of Luton, where she now lives and works. She is a GP Partner at The Surgery, Barton-Le-Clay where she supervises individual GP trainees but is also one of the Luton GP Training Scheme Programme Directors, looking after the training of all the future GPs in the area.
She is involved in mentoring local students in accessing higher education, and regularly delivers community based projects around health, as well as occasionally hosting the Health and Fitness Show on InspireFM.
In this episode, we discuss the importance of oral and dental health- the scope of NHS and private dentistry as well as sharing simple tips and tricks to look after your dental and overall wellbeing.
