In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Dr Tara Francis has gained a trustworthy reputation within the field of facial aesthetics, focusing on "enhancing the natural beauty you already possess". Believing strongly in treating a patient holistically, and individually, tailoring each care plan to the patient's specific needs, suitability, and expectations. After graduating as a dentist from King's College London, Dr Tara soon found her passion in the field of medical aesthetics, and now passes her passion on through her academy, The London Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, where she teaches doctors, dentists, and nurses.
In this episode, Dr Tara talks about her journey and how she made the transition from dentistry to the field of facial aesthetics shortly after graduating. Dr Tara discusses how social media has helped her build her business as well the downsides of being on social media. We discuss various facial aesthetics treatment modalities and focus on dermal fillers, scope of treatment and the associated risks.
