In this podcast Dr Shaadi Manouchehri will discuss all things dentistry including, but not limited to, common dental conditions and treatments. The show welcomes guests regularly, including dental professionals and experts in their fields as well as patients who will share their personal journey and hopefully provide some entertainment along the way! This podcast may also at times feature alternative but relevant topics such as social media and dentists, mental health and facial aesthetics. Dr Shaadi is a cosmetic dentist based in London having graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by completing postgraduate training posts in specialist fields including paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. She regularly features in dental journals and has recently published “How to Get into Dental School”, a beginner’s guide for prospective dental students.

Dr. Maysoon is a family and cosmetic dentist with 16 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Manchester University in 2006, and successfully earned postgraduate qualification by becoming a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.
In this episode, Dr Maysoon shares her experience of moving from the UAE to the UK to study dentistry. She also shares what it was like to move back to the UAE (where she is currently based) to practice dentistry and how this compares to dentistry in the UK. We discuss the current requirements if you’re considering moving to the UAE.
